I think it’s important we get
to know each other! So, I have put
together a mini synopsis of my recent
adult life.

After you’ve heard my story, I would
love to hear a little about you if
you care to share.

And since my ezine pretty much focuses
on building your mind to attract wealth,
& making money online, I’d love to
hear (if and how) YOU make money online.

Perhaps you made $1000 on eBay one time.
Or maybe you’ve got a web-site that
generates 6 figures every month. Either
way, send me an email sometime, I would
love to hear from you.

I am collecting these stories & someday
I will (with your permission of course)
publish these stories in a format similar
to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” Series
in an eBook.

If you’re comfortable with it, I might
even send your “online success story”
to my other subscribers. I know they’d
love hearing it as much as me.

These types of stories help build confidence
in ones abilities and restores hope that
everyone has it within themselves to
build the future that they want for themselves
and their families.

With that, I guess it’s time for the
story of ME…

I’m 45 years old…and inevitably
inching towards…GULP…the big 50.

I have a beautiful wife, and 2 young men
(ages 18 yrs, and 19 yrs) that
keep me real busy. One is going to be
a captain of a tugboat and the other
is working on being a song writer.

I’ve got a great house in La Honda,
California, USA from which I run
my online business most of the time. I had it
built during one of the fiercest storms
on record in Northern California caused
by El Nino in Feb 1998. We recorded 88Mph
winds here. We were landlocked for 3 days,
hand no power for a week and no phones for
over a month! You know it’s a bad storm
when F.E.M.A. rides up on horse back and
asks if everything is ok.
And you thought California was
all sunshine and movie stars.

I enjoy spending time with my family,
coaching & umpiring little league baseball,
SCUBA and abalone diving, water skiing,
and messing around in my 1985 Honda
Odyssey 350FLR OHV…I also spend entirely
too much time with my computer(s).

I have been pretty much a techie most of
my adult life. I started off a as a telephone
and data technician, which means I spent a lot
of time hooking up wires to peoples computers
and phones mostly in big computer companies
such as Hewlett Packard, Apple & Silicon Graphics
to name a few.

In 1994, my work life changed very drastically. I
had always done side work to make extra money for
the nicer things in life, but this time I was to
get an opportunity that helped get me to where I
am today.

You see, I was one of the first people to help
start a little company called at that time…
Mosaic Communications (Later Netscape due to a
pending lawsuit from NCSA) I was working during
the day @ Silicon Graphics, then at night I would
work at Mosaic. This went on for several months
before I was actually hired. So, even though I was
the 12th person there, I was employee #44 due to
some pending legal issues with SGI threatening to
sue Jim Clark if he siphoned off anymore talent
from them. Long, boring story.

Mosaic/Netscape was one of the most exciting times
in my life due to the fact that is was I, not
Al Gore that was helping create the Internet. ;->

This stint of employment set me up to found and help
found many other successful ventures…and some not so
successful. But all and all, very valuable experiences.
Ones I wouldn’t trade for the world.

These experiences marked a definite turning
point in my life. Although it was fun and fruitful
doing what I had done, I still hadn’t made it on my
own. It was time to make a choice.
I could spend the rest of my life working for
other people, essentially under *their*
control…

OR *I* could take control of my life
and financial future by taking steps
towards starting businesses of my
very own!

I knew I had the *burning desire* necessary
for success. What I needed was a sound
plan.

Finding that plan turned out to be quite
an adventure. An adventure covering everything
from selling my inventions to MLM, to selling
vacation packages, angel investing, stock investing,
independent sales reping and many others not worth
mentioning.

Finally, after about 3 up and down years, dozens of
books, thousands of dollars, thousands of HOURS,
I ended up…right here!

Today I’m a professional Joint Venture Expert
and Internet Marketer, armed with the knowledge
and experience hard fought to acquire.

Obviously the term “Internet marketer” could
apply to just about any type of online
business…

Specifically, what I do is sell digital
information products such as ebooks
(electronic books), software, audio
courses, and so forth. Not to mention
some of my other REAL WORLD products.

Many people still don’t exactly know what
a digital product is. But that’s about to
change…

Forrester Research estimates digitally
delivered books and information products
will near a 7.8 billion dollar market
over the next 5 years!

“Digital info-marketing” is bar-none
the coolest business I’ve even been
involved in…Heck, it’s the coolest
business I’ve ever *heard* of.

Why?

There are numerous reasons, such as
the fact that I don’t need an inventory,
my products cost nothing to reproduce,
my profits are almost 100%…

But the biggest reason this is such an
awesome business is that I can automate
almost everything I do.

Every time I make a sale, I do nothing.
Really!

…Payment processing and product delivery
are done automatically.

My friends and family are impressed
when they hear how I make money
while I’m out with my family, on
vacation, coaching baseball or
when I am SCUBA diving!
But you know what? What I do is really not
that impressive at all. Seriously. Anybody
can do it. It’s a little scary at first,
like your first time riding a bike.

…But it’s actually a lot of FUN as
you get used to it.

But anyway, that pretty much covers it
as far as MY story goes.
